Labeling of Slides
for Submission
STEP 1
“Thumb spot” your slide(s), by placing an easily seen mark in the lower left-hand corner of the slide(s). A mark made with a black ink stamp or an indelible black marker can be easily seen by the projectionist.
STEP 2
Now turn your slide(s) upside down, so that the thumb spot is in the upper right-hand corner. If you number your slides, place that number opposite the thumb spot (in the upper left-hand corner when the slide is upside down). The slide’s title should be placed at the top, in between the slide number and the thumb spot, so that the projectionist can see the title without having to turn the slide. The category identification should be placed on the left side. Put your name on the bottom.
Now your work is ready for the projector’s carousel.
